The Fort Cox Female Volleyball Scarlets add to their silverware collection.

Following their generational run at the 2026 National Agricultural Colleges Volleyball Association Tournament, the Scarlets participated in the Eastern Cape Youth Sport Festival Score Volleyball Tournament.

The event was hosted by Lovedale Tvet College on Saturday, 25 July 2026.

The Scarlets took on hosts Lovedale and avenged their early season loss to the same opponents winning 2 sets to 1 and claimed the winners medal.

Final Results of the 2026 National Agricultural Colleges Volleyball Association (NACVA) Tournament.

Females Final

Fort Cox (0) v Mazhivhandila (2)

Fort Cox fall short in the final and finish 2nd to get the silver medal.

Males 3rd Place

Fort Cox (2) v Grooties (0)

Fort Cox walks away with the Bronze Medal as the team finishes 3rd.

These results mark an incredible turnaround for both teams after the disappointment of last year's tournament which we hosted.

Credit goes to the commitment shown by the players and Mr Zukisani Sitishi who coaches both teams.

Female Scarlets beat Grootfontein 2 Sets to Love and will take on Madzivhandila in the final.

Male Scarlets went down to Madzivhandila 2 Sets to Love. Fort Cox will now contest the 3rd place playoff against Grooties.

Day 2 of the 2026 NACVA Tournament today, saw both Fort Cox teams in action.

Following their opening day victory over Tardi, the Male Scarlets unfortunately went down to OSCA 2 sets to 1.

Whilst the Female Scarlets kicked off their campaign and won both their matches by 2 sets to Love against Tardi and OSCA
