Wednesday Wisdom: 🧠 Want to know what actually predicts a child's long-term success? A growth mindset.

Decades of developmental research point to a few game-changing habits that set children up for life:

1️⃣ Praise the Effort, Not the Smart: Stanford research shows that telling a child "You worked so hard on that!" instead of "You're so smart!" builds a growth mindset. It teaches them that intelligence can expand with effort, making them bounce back faster from failures. 📈

2️⃣ Interactive Reading: Reading with your child (asking open-ended questions like "What do you think happens next?") accelerates language development by up to 8 months ahead of passive listening! 📚

3️⃣ High (But Warm) Expectations: Data tracks show that a parent's long-term expectations heavily influence a child's academic trajectory, regardless of family income. 🎯

Success isn't about perfection; it’s about building resilience, curiosity, and a willingness to try again when they fail. 🌱
