What an exciting week of learning we’ve had! Our theme was Animals and the children explored, created, and played while learning so much 🐾

Activities we covered:

1. Animal Arrow Matching: Children followed directions by placing animal figures onto matching arrow cards. This supported listening skills, following instructions, and animal recognition.

2. Ocean Sensory Play: We explored sea animals in our "ocean" water tray. Children learned about fish, starfish, octopus, shark and ocean habitats.

3. Shark Feeding Game: A fun activity to develop gross motor skills, aim, coordination, and counting as children "fed" the shark.

4. Dinosaur Sensory Bin: Children did a "fossil dig" in an oats tray with dinosaurs. This encouraged sensory exploration and imaginative play.

5. Fluffy Sheep Craft: The children used foam to create the wool on our cardboard sheep, supporting sensory and fine motor skills.

6. Milking the Cow: Our favorite farm activity! Children learned where milk comes from by "milking" a cow. This taught them about farm animals and food sources.

Through these activities, the children developed language, listening skills, fine and gross motor skills, sensory awareness, and knowledge about different animals and their habitats.

Today our kidzonians learned about different types of weather through sensory play and science experiments, the children explored:
- How thunderstorms form
- How rain falls from clouds
- How the sun feels
- How wind moves

It was a fun, hands-on way to understand the world around us ☀️ 🌧 🌩 🌬
