Some sounds deserve a classroom of their own🤍

Today, our Mubzies traded the usual classroom soundtrack for something a little more beautiful: Qur’ān, recited live by a visiting Qārī.

A beautiful change to the usual school-day rhythm.

Grade 3 | Homes of the Past ✨

Our Grade 3 Mubzies had so much fun exploring Homes of the Past during Life Skills.🌿

They learnt about different types of homes people lived in long ago, including igloos, caves, thatched huts and mud houses, and compared these to the homes we have today. 🛖❄️

They discovered how homes have changed and improved over time and discussed why we should be grateful for the homes, comfort and safety we have today🌟

The best part was getting hands-on and creative.🧱
Mubzies worked in groups to build their own models of different homes.

Learning through creativity, teamwork and play🏠

What an incredible Fire Safety Day! 🔥🚒

Today our Mubzies had the most amazing visit from our local fire department! They taught us so much about fire safety, firefighters, their equipment and how they help keep us safe.

We got to see the fire truck, hoses, nozzles and protective gear, learn about important fire safety rules and even take part in some fun, hands-on activities and games.🚒

The Mubzies had such a fun time learning, exploring and playing while learning valuable skills that they can use in real life.

Learning + fun + important life skills = the BEST kind of Ma'had Urwah day 🚒

🍓 Alḥamdulilāh, Today our grade 1 learners had a _berry_ sweet learning experience!

As part of our Life Skills topic on *Food*! We learnt about making healthy and unhealthy food choices, as well as the different ways food can be stored and preserved, fresh, tinned, dried and frozen.

Our focus today was on *preservation by freezing*. The learners learnt that freezing helps to keep food fresh for longer by slowing down the processes that cause food to spoil.

To put our learning into practice, we made our very own *strawberry popsicles*! 🍓🥣 Mubzies prepared their popsicles, excited to see how freezing would preserve and transform our mixture into a delicious frozen treat.🍓❄️

Oreo Dirt Cups!

Our little chefs in Grade RR were busy making Oreo Dirt Cups!

We practiced measuring the milk, mixing the pudding, crushing the Oreos and layering our dessert.

A fun, hands-on lesson full of love, laughter and yummy treats.

As part of our Literacy Week, Mubzies dressed up so creatively!
They picked a letter and led the way!
Without a doubt
such a fun-filled Alphabet Day!

Today our Grade 3 learners had the beautiful opportunity to give hampers to another school through Mubz Relief. 🤍

It was a truly humbling experience for our learners and a wonderful reminder of the importance of kindness, generosity and gratitude. They learnt that we should never take the blessings we have for granted and that even a small act of giving can bring happiness to someone else.

Most importantly, it reminded us to always say Alhamdulillāh and thank Allāh for everything He has blessed us with — the food we have, our homes, our families and all the little things we often overlook. 🤲🏼
