ABOUT RADICAL GAPYEAR
Grow deep so you can fly high.
Radical Gapyear is a 10-month residential gap year hosted at Fountain of Blessings, created for young adults (18–21) who are standing at a crossroads between school and adulthood.
This program exists because not every young person is ready to rush into university, and not every parent wants to see their child lose direction, discipline, or confidence while “figuring things out.”
Radical Gapyear is not a year off.
It is a year of intentional preparation.
WHY RADICAL GAPYEAR?
Many young adults today feel overwhelmed by choices and pressure. They are not lazy — they are uncertain. When this season is left unmanaged, it often leads to poor decisions, wasted money, or a loss of momentum.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Radical Gapyear is founded by Gerda le Roux, a businesswoman, mentor, educator, and ministry leader with over 30 years of experience in economics, banking, business development, education, and community leadership.
Radical Gapyear is the fulfilment of a vision she has carried for more than a decade — to create a gap year that forms character, builds discipline, and helps young people discover their purpose in a real and practical way.
LIMITED INTAKE
To ensure personal mentorship and quality growth, Radical Gapyear is limited to only 10 students per intake.
This allows us to know every student by name, story, and potential.
