Aerorand Primary School begins an exciting new chapter in our story.

It is with immense pride and heartfelt excitement that we congratulate Mrs Vicky Botma on her appointment as the new Principal of Aerorand Primary School.

This is far more than a change in leadership—it is the continuation of a vision that began in the school's first year.

From the very first days of Aerorand Primary School, Mrs Botma has been part of the team that transformed a dream into the thriving school we know today. Working alongside our founding principal, Mrs Erna Pretorius, she helped establish a culture of excellence, care, and opportunity that continues to define APS.

Over the years, we have had the privilege of watching her grow as an educator, a leader, and a mentor. Her unwavering commitment to our learners, our staff, and our school community has always been evident, making this appointment both meaningful and well-deserved.

Leadership is not only about preserving what has been built.

It is about having the courage to dream bigger.

As Mrs Botma steps into this new role, we have every confidence that she will honour the remarkable legacy of Mrs Pretorius while leading Aerorand Primary School into an exciting future—one shaped by her own vision, passion, and dedication.

🌍🧤 Grade 1 Community Clean-Up Project ♻️💚

Learning goes beyond the classroom! As part of our theme on our community, our Grade 1 learners rolled up their sleeves and visited the public park next to our school for a community clean-up.

Armed with gloves, enthusiasm, and caring hearts, they collected so many pieces of litter, helping to make our shared space cleaner and more beautiful for everyone.

We are incredibly proud of our Grade 1 learners for showing that even small hands can make a big difference. Thank you for being responsible citizens and taking pride in your community! 🌱✨

Our athletes gave it their all at the first Cross Country League hosted at Belfast Academy, and we are incredibly proud of their determination and sportsmanship!

🎉 Top 10 Finishers:
🥉 4th Place: Bohlale Maesela (U12 Girls)
🏅 6th Place: Artimiza Mahlangu
🏅 10th Place: Naiden Nciizah (U12 Boys)

👏 An additional 8 athletes finished between 11th and 20th place, while 12 athletes secured places between 21st and 30th.

Every race is an opportunity to grow stronger, and our Eagles certainly made us proud. Congratulations to every athlete who represented our school with dedication and perseverance. Keep soaring! 💙💛🦅
