ESG Africa Summit is happening this week!

Looking forward to exploring how ESG can be integrated with the circular economy, and how standards such as ISO 59004:2024 can help translate circular-economy principles into practical, sustainable systems across Africa. ♻️

Excited to learn, connect and bring new insights back into Optima Trading’s work in sustainability and circularity.

Circularity starts long before a product reaches the bin.

Producers are becoming increasingly conscious of product design and its role in supporting the green economy.

When products are designed with their entire life cycle in mind, we can create more opportunities for durability, reuse, repair, recovery and recycling, helping to prevent and minimise waste.

This is more than waste management.
It is about accountability, responsible production and environmental leadership.

Think beyond the bin. Design for circularity.

Minimalism isn’t about having a beautiful, empty office, home or place. It’s about intentional consumption.

Before you buy, ask:
Do I really need this? Is it quality? How long will it last? And what happens to it when I no longer need it?

Small choices can mean less waste and a more sustainable future.

Buy better. Use longer. Waste less.

We had the privilege of attending the PASA Conference 2030.

A heartfelt thank you to the organisers, EPR schemes, PROs, and all stakeholders for creating a platform for meaningful dialogue, collaboration, and innovation towards a more sustainable future. 🌍♻️

As we continue the journey towards 2030, collaboration and collective action remain essential in driving the circular economy forward.

Thank you for the opportunity to be part of the conversation. ♻️🌱
