🌿 Happy National Women’s Day! 🌿

Today we celebrate the incredible women who teach, nurture, lead, encourage, inspire and make a difference in ways both big and small. 💚

To the mothers raising tomorrow’s generation, the teachers shaping young minds, the women building dreams, and every woman showing strength even on the days she doesn’t feel particularly strong — today is for you.

“Here’s to strong women. May we know them. May we be them. May we raise them.”🌱

At Tree of Knowledge Tuition Centre, we are especially grateful for the remarkable women who pour their hearts into helping our children learn, grow and believe in themselves.

May you always remember the difference you make, the lives you touch, and the strength you carry.

💚 Happy Women’s Day, South Africa! 🇿🇦

Childhood should not feel like one long performance. 🌳

Children need time to play, laugh, explore and simply enjoy being themselves—without needing to achieve, improve or prove anything. These moments of carefree fun strengthen family connections, support emotional wellbeing and help children grow into happier, healthier individuals.

As pioneering child psychotherapist Virginia Axline beautifully said:
“Enter into children’s play, and you will find the place where their minds, hearts, and souls meet.” (https://www.illumecounselingcenter.com/why-play-therapy)

Make space for the silly moments, the unplanned adventures and the laughter that serves no purpose other than joy. Those moments matter too. 💚

💬 The best conversations often begin with better questions.

Instead of asking, “How was school?” and receiving the usual “Fine,” try one of these ten thoughtful questions to encourage your child to share more about their day.

These simple conversation starters can help parents understand their child’s experiences, emotions, friendships and challenges—while creating a safe space where they feel heard and supported. 🌳

Save this post for after school and try asking one question at a time. You may be surprised by the conversations that follow!
