Congratulations to all the young scientists who participated in the Eskom Expo Nkangala Regional Science Fair, held at Witbank High School on 25 July 2026!

The event showcased the outstanding research, innovation and problem-solving skills of qualifying learners from across the region, who presented their completed projects after progressing through the compulsory District Expos.

The Eskom Expo Nkangala Regional Science Fair is showcasing the incredible talent, innovation and scientific excellence of our young researchers.

Join us tomorrow, 25 July 2026 at Witbank High School, eMalahleni, for Public Viewing from 12:30 to 14:00, where you can explore the inspiring research projects on display.

Then, celebrate excellence at the Awards Ceremony from 15:00 to 17:00, as we recognise the region’s outstanding young scientists.

One of the greatest benefits of participating in the Regional Science Fairs is the opportunity to learn from others. You'll meet fellow young scientists, researchers, engineers, academics and STEMI professionals who share your passion for discovery and innovation.
Take every opportunity to ask questions, exchange ideas and learn from the experience. These conversations often inspire future research projects and career paths.
