Learner Highlight: Helisha Moonsamy 🌟

Helisha recently completed her Hygiene and Cleaning NQF Level 1 and we’d like to highlight her incredible attitude and commitment to learning.

She successfully completed her classroom theory before gaining practical experience at Howick West Primary School. With the support and guidance of her supervisors, Helisha was able to gain new skills and assist with a variety of tasks. She showed excellent participation and communication which will take her far in the future🧹

She also achieved an impressive 100% attendance throughout her learnership and was recognised for her dedication at our graduation celebration.

A huge thank you to Howick West Primary School for hosting Helisha and supporting her workplace training.

Celebrating Our Plant Production Learners 🎓

We recently celebrated the successful completion of a Plant Production NQF Level 1 (2025–2026) programme. Learners were sponsored by Omnia and Umfolozi Sugar Mill.

The celebration was short and sweet, with the presentation of AgriSETA certificates, a few fun awards, and of course, some cake! 🍰 Special awards included the Future Farmer Award, Excellent Attendance, Teamwork, Leadership, Most Improved, and more.

Congratulations to all our learners. We’re proud of your hard work and commitment. May this be a stepping stone for many more opportunities ahead. 💚

Value Logistics keeping Corrie-Lynn Primary Looking Its Best 🌱

Corrie-Lynn Primary School in Tweedie was excited to receive a new lawnmower, generously sponsored by Value Logistics 💜

Maintaining the school grounds has been an ongoing challenge, especially with learners enjoying the grass fields for sport and play. This donation will help keep the grounds safe, neat and ready for everyday learning and recreation⚽

Celebrating Our Farm Learners 🌿

Khulisani Farm hosted a braai to celebrate our learners who successfully completed six months of practical training at the host site. It was a great afternoon filled with laughter, good food and memories shared.

A big congratulations to our incredible learners for all their hard work and for completing their programme successfully💚

A huge thank you to our dedicated farm staff for mentoring, supporting and supervising our learners throughout their workplace experience, and to our amazing partners Omnia and Umfolozi Sugar Mill for making this opportunity possible. 🤝

We’re truly blessed to live and work in beautiful South Africa, where we can celebrate our diverse cultures, education and the progress we make together.

Learner highlight: Sphelele Ndlovu 🌟

Studying New Venture Creation NQF Level 2, Sphelele completed all theory components and moved on to his practicals where he found an incredible host site, Leidane Trading (PTY) Ltd. At Ledaine, Sphelele assisted their team while learning new skills in stock management and order processing 📦📊

Sphelele has an exemplary attitude and work ethic that is inspiring to other learners and sets a standard that we commend 👏 Keep it up Sphelele!

Spudding farmers! 🥔🌱

Our Plant Production learners set out to grow potatoes—and they delivered! 👏

At our academy and farm, learners experimented with different growing methods, including vertically stacked car tyres and traditional soil beds. They also explored rooting techniques by suspending potatoes partially in water to stimulate root growth 💧🌿

The result? A successful harvest and a whole lot of learning along the way! 🙌 Best of all, the harvested potatoes were shared with our local partner churches, who help distribute food to communities in need ❤️

What a blessing it is to equip our learners with practical skills while making a meaningful impact in our community 🌍
