Hand. 12:6-19 ('Expect the Miraculous Escape')

Acts 12:6-19 Peter's Miraculous Escape

Sometimes your chains fall off before you notice.

"Immediately the chains fell off Peter's wrists."
— Acts 12:7

No dramatic struggle.

No wrestling.

No effort.

Just...

the chains fell off.

your miraculous escape!

Miskien moet jy vandag net weer onthou:

God maak steeds tronkdeure oop. (Handelinge 12:6-19)

Nie elke tronk het tralies nie.

Sommige mense is gevange in vrees.

Sommige in skaamte.

Sommige in 'n verhouding van emosionele mishandeling.

Sommige in rou.

Acts 12: 6-19 Peter's Miraculous Escape

Rather than viewing the story only as a miracle of rescue, we can detect a sequence of God's invitation into freedom:

1) God enters the prison. (You are not forgotten.)

2) God breaks the chains. (Freedom begins with Him.)

3) God wakes the prisoner. (Recognize the new reality.)

4) God tells Peter to get dressed. (Prepare for transition.)

5) God says, "Follow Me." (Walk in daily obedience.)

6) God opens impossible gates. (He removes what you cannot.)

7) Discover that you are truly free. (Freedom becomes our new
identity.)

your miraculous escape.

Sometimes the best decision one can make is to actually get up and do something. Deciding on that something is what causes the most anxiety.

That can change, only if you’re willing to let it.
