RUGBY | SEVENS

A hard-fought weekend at the Marius Schoeman 7’s in Paarl! Huge effort, determination and heart were shown by both our teams on the field.

The U17s battled all the way to the Shield Quarter Finals, unfortunately going down 12–29 against Hermanus.

The U15s made an incredible run to the Shield Semi Finals, putting up a tough fight before narrowly losing 12–19 to Zimbabwe.

Trots op die karakter en sportmanskap wat elke speler getoon het. Ons neem die lesse uit elke wedstryd, wen of verloor, saam met ons, bou daarop voort en kom volgende keer sterker terug!

SWIMMING

Proud is an understatement!

A huge congratulations to our star swimmer, Ava Lorenzen, on a breathtaking performance at the CANA Zone 4 Swimming Championships in Botswana!

Ava dominated the pool, bringing home an incredible medal haul:

Gold:
800m freestyle
100m backstroke
200m breaststroke
50m backstroke
200m butterfly
200m IM

Ava also competed in four relays, winning gold in all four!

Silver:
200m backstroke
100m butterfly
100m breaststroke

Bronze:
50m breaststroke

To top off an already outstanding competition, Ava was crowned Victrix Ludorum in her age group!

Lente is in die lug by Hoërskool Melkbosstrand!

Friday’s civvies day was all about giving back to nature and supporting our Eco Club. Instead of civvies money, many of our learners brought plants to school, which we planted together in our school garden.

Baie dankie aan almal wat gehelp het om ons skool mooier, groener en meer omgewingsvriendelik te maak!
