One of the major challenges in Pre-Primary education is overpopulation in the classroom.
A Preschool teacher working alone with 10, 15, or even more young children already has a LOT on her plate.
Think about it.
Children need attention with almost everything:
🍽️ Eating
🚽 Using the restroom
🧼 Cleaning up
✏️ Writing
📚 Reading
🧩 Activities
…and so much more.

It is almost impossible to expect one teacher to effectively handle all of these responsibilities for 10+ young children.

I mean, she's human—not a magician. 😅

Eventually, she will find ways to survive each school day. But surviving the day does not necessarily mean she is enjoying her work, nor does it mean she is able to give her best.

In Preschool classes, children need individual attention. A teacher needs time to sit with a child, guide their writing, listen to them read, correct them, encourage them, and patiently help them through what they don't understand.

But how can she do that effectively when most of her energy has already been spent nannying the entire class?
