⭐️ Fridays: Magical theme days — from puppet shows and baking to imaginative play adventures.

What a special morning we shared with our amazing dads!

Today our little ones welcomed their dads to the Secret Garden Coffee Shop, where they enjoyed coffee, cappuccinos, and hot chocolate together before starting the day. There were smiles, cuddles, conversations, and precious moments that reminded us just how important these special connections are.

To make the morning even sweeter, the children surprised their dads with a special Father’s Day gift – a delicious super hero chocolate wrapped with lots of love and appreciation.

Thank you to all the dads who took time out of their busy schedules to join us. Your presence means the world to your children, and we loved celebrating you today.

This Child Protection Week, Secret Garden Montessori Pre-School proudly stands with communities across South Africa in promoting the safety, wellbeing, and rights of every child. 💙

From 29 May – 5 June 2026, we join the national call to protect, nurture, and empower our children. Every child deserves to feel safe, loved, heard, and valued every single day.

As educators, parents, and community members, we all have a role to play in creating environments where children can thrive. By listening, supporting, and advocating for our little ones, we help build a brighter future for all.

Today we celebrated Slipper Day at Secret Garden! 🩴💙

Our little ones arrived in their favourite slippers, bringing plenty of smiles, excitement, and cosy comfort to the school day. While the children loved showing off their fun and fluffy footwear, Slipper Day is about so much more than slippers.

By taking part, we help support children living with life-threatening illnesses through the incredible work of Reach For A Dream. It was a wonderful opportunity to teach our children about kindness, caring for others, and making a difference in the lives of those who need it most.
