🌿🌳 Botanical Garden Excursion 🌳🌿

Yesterday, we enjoyed a wonderful excursion to the Botanical Garden as part of our Trees & Wood theme this week. What a lovely way to end our third term! 💚

We had a beautiful picnic with our parents, while the children enjoyed playing, exploring and simply being surrounded by nature. From the gorgeous trees to the cheeky monkeys who made a surprise appearance, there was plenty to see and enjoy! 🐒🌿

Thank you to all our wonderful parents for joining us and helping make it such a special day. We have loved ending the term with happy hearts, fresh air and wonderful memories. 🌱✨

🌊🐙🦀 A SPLASHING GOOD WEEK AT SECRET GARDEN! 🐠🐚

This week, our little explorers took a dive beneath the waves as we learned all about the wonderful world of the ocean! 🌊💙

We discovered fascinating sea animals, talked about life under the sea, and learned lots of fun facts about the creatures that call the ocean home. 🐳🐢🐠

And of course, we got creative! 🎨✨ Our little artists made the cutest crab artwork, creating their very own colourful ocean creatures. 🦀❤️

We ended our week with something extra special — octopus face painting! 🐙🎨 The children absolutely loved it, and we think they looked incredibly adorable! 😍

🌻🌱 Growing Little Gardeners at Secret Garden 🌱🌻

What a beautiful week of Gardening and welcoming Spring! 🌸☀️

Today, the Hedgehogs planted sunflower seeds in our carefully prepared veggie patch between the strawberry plants. 🍓They dug, planted, covered and watered — all by themselves! 💦🌱

This is Montessori learning in action: hands-on, purposeful work that develops coordination, fine-motor skills, sequencing and, most importantly, care for our environment and living things. 🌿

Now comes the exciting part… we wait! 🌻

We’ll watch, water and wonder as our tiny seeds begin their journey towards becoming beautiful sunflowers. 💛

Junior Jive forms part of our school curriculum at Secret Garden and is included in your school fees! 🌿💚

Junior Jive is a fun, energetic programme that combines music, movement, rhythm, different instruments, dance and physical development. It encourages little ones to move, groove, build coordination and confidence, while learning through music and having lots of fun! 🥰🎵

It’s a wonderful part of our week — and there’s no extra cost to parents! 💚✨
