This past Wednesday was a beautiful celebration of self-love, self-appreciation, royalty and confidence at Lowveld High School!
Our Blues embraced the spirit of the Golden Crown by dressing in their most stunning royal outfits and celebrating the unique greatness within themselves.
A day to remember: Embrace self-love. Celebrate YOU.

From the Home of the Blues to inspiring a generation! đź’™
We are proud to celebrate two former Lowveld High School learners, Nevil Lucian Langa and Mthunzi Sibuyi, who are joining forces to rewrite their book, A Diary of a Black Man’s Struggle.
Originally published in 2023, the new edition aims to speak directly to today’s youth, offering meaningful lessons, motivation and practical solutions to challenges such as substance abuse, lack of direction and the struggles faced by young people.
Their shared vision is powerful: to educate, inspire and empower Black youth to go from “zero to a hundred mentally.”
The new edition is coming soon, with a book launch on the horizon. We look forward to celebrating this incredible journey and the impact it will have on young minds.
Your past does not define your future. Use your experiences to help others make better decisions. All the very best with your future endeavours boys 🙌.

We are incredibly proud of our talented Visual Arts learners who continue to showcase creativity, passion and excellence beyond the classroom. Lowveld High School was honoured to receive an invitation to the 22nd Provincial FET Visual Arts and Design Exhibition and Prize-Giving Ceremony, celebrating learners who achieved positions in the Top 10 in their respective categories.
The exhibition embraced the theme “STEAM” – Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics, highlighting the powerful connection between creativity, innovation and the world around us.
A special congratulations to Lerato Thibela on receiving a Visual Arts and Design Certificate at the Mbombela Gallery. Keep creating, keep shining and keep innovating.

Our talented learners proudly represented Lowveld High School at the VIBE Innibos Youth Symposium and Expo 2026, where they explored and developed their creative talents through a range of inspiring masterclasses.
Learners immersed themselves in Visual Arts, exploring drawing, painting and sawing, while others participated in masterclasses in Theatre, Dance and Music, learning from experienced industry professionals.
A special congratulations to Thabang Mdoka, whose impressive figure drawing showcased the creativity, dedication and artistic skill of our Blues.
We are incredibly proud of our learners for embracing every opportunity to learn, grow and express their talents.
