On the 12th of June 2025, we proudly hosted our Handover Ceremony, an occasion filled with pride, unity, and celebration—as we honoured the outstanding achievements of our U19 and U13 boys’ and girls’ teams in the Kay Motsepe Championship. 🏆⚽

This milestone not only marks victory on the field but also reflects the dedication, discipline, and resilience shown by our learners, coaches, and support staff throughout the journey from circuit level competitions right through to the National stage. We were honoured to host Dioka Motsepe from the Motsepe Foundation during his site visit at our school. The visit inspired our learners and highlighted the importance of education, leadership, and community upliftment.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Sanlam, the Department of Basic Education, SAFA, Ehlanzeni Football, and the members of the ESO for their invaluable support, guidance, and commitment. Your contribution played a vital role in ensuring the success and smooth running of all matches, creating opportunities for our learners to shine and compete at the highest level.

In a powerful partnership, the Nevada Womens Toyrnament, Malakyt Tournament, East High Academy and Mordecai Ndlovu Foundation is proud to support the Lethuxolo Mathebula Campaign right here at our school. This event isn't just about football—it’s about celebrating the strength, unity, and excellence of women in sport.

The Mission: The Sanitary Pad Campaign
Period poverty should never stand in the way of an education. Lethuxolo is championing a campaign to provide essential support for girl children across Mpumalanga. When we ensure our girls have what they need, we ensure they can focus on their dreams.

How You Can Support
We are collecting donations of Ntombazane Maxi Sanitary Pads (and other high-quality sanitary products) to help Lethuxolo reach her goal.

Our school is taking a major step forward in sports development! 🎉 On December 9, 2025, we honoured a landmark meeting with the University of Johannesburg (UJ) Sports team, paving the way for a strategic partnership that will create opportunities for our learners to shine! 🌟

This collaboration will provide access to world-class facilities, scholarships, training, and mentorship initiatives, giving our students a competitive edge in their future endeavors. We’re proud to be colaborate with UJ Sports to nurture talent and promote sports development in Mpumalanga. 💪
