Believe as the scripture says.

John 7:37-39
38- "he who believes in me, as the scripture had said, from his innermost being shall flow springs and rivers of living waters."

There are 3 key phrases from this verse.
-he who believes
-in me
-as the scripture says

1. He who believes (okholwa)
a. John 12:44-46 "he that believes in me, believes in the One who sent me."
b. John 11:25 "tapped into eternity"
c. John 3:36 "complete Godly life)

He who believes in the One who sent Christ and lives in the taste of eternity, full of Life.

2. In me (identity of Jesus.
a. The word. John 1:1-3
b. Firstborn among believes. Rom 8:29
c. The way, truth & life. John 14:6

Believing in Jesus, means you receive Him as the word that was at the beginning and him being the first born of all believes and the only way to God.

3. As the scripture says
The word scripture is a combination of two words, THEOS (God) and LOGOS (Meaning word or rational thought)
-scripture refers to the thoughts and reasoning of God.
*Scripture is inspired by the holy spirit to be in a position to speak directly to your spirit man.
-when you believe as the scripture says, means you believe in what the spirit of God inspires you to do and act in obedience to.

Here Jesus says, "he who believes and has confidence in God's thoughts, trusting in God's ways and the truth. Holding on to every word that goes forth from his mouth ready to produce results.

The key to life is for you to believe as the scripture says.

"ngokuba ukulunga kuNkulunkulu kwambulwa kulo, kuvela ekukholweni, kuyisa ekukholweni, njengokulotshiwe ukuthi, "Olungileyi uzakuphila ngokukholwa."

ukukholwa/ Faith
(believe/ being confidant/ assured/ certainly/ positive of/ trusting/ convinced/ ESSENTIAL RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD)
all these and More, helps us define ukukholwa .

When Paul wrote to the church in Rome, he emphasized the necessity of Living By Faith (living life influenced by an active relationship with God)

lithini ibhaybheli ngokukholwa?

a. assurity of things hoped for. Hebrews 11:1
b. faith is a gift from God. 1 cor 12:7-11(9)
c. being convinced God Exists. Hebrews 11:6
d. Faith is a Character of being in Christ. Gal 5:6
e. Action of obedience. Matt 14:27-29
f. faith is the gateway to salvation. Romans 10:9-10
g. faith is A NEW START. Mark 16:15-16 "okholwayo abhabhadiswe, uyakusindiswa."

living by faith, entails that we live a life that makes God a reality above all things. Remember that NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE TO HIM WHO BELIEVES.

Appreciate each and everyday as it is a free gift from God. Some are lying on their sick bed, some are dead and you are alive amisdt all that you are going through.

David says, "Bless the Lord O My Soul. It is important to give thanks to the lord. It creates enough room to receive the goodness of the Lord over your life.

I AM WITH YOU, SAYS THE LORD.

Haggai 2:4 "But now the lord says, Be Strong, Zerubbabel. Be strong Jeshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest. Be strong, all you people still left in the land. And now get to work, for i am with You, says the lord of heavens armies."

The word of the Lord came through Haggai to the ramnant that the Lord brought back from the 70years exile in Babylon.

There is one phrase i wish for us to speak about from the text. "I Am with You, says the lord."

Zerubbabel and the people were building the second temple whilst under the Persian Empire. And the Lord spoke to them, continue working, for i am with you.

Brothers and sisters, as we are about to end this year. Continue doing the good work of serving God with your heart. The affirmation that God is with you, is to assure you that through all the challenges of 2024, some of which wore you off, the task is not over yet. 2025 is at the door.

In this 2025, God promises to be with you. He will be your shield against every fiery dat from the enemy. He will help you overcome every fear that stands to surprise you along your journey. God is with you to defend you from every giant that will arise in 2025.

My wish for you in this 2025 is that you do not let Go of the presence of God over your life.
