I had the privilege of spending over 3 hours mentoring Grade 11 and 12 Science learners from different schools across Gauteng. Engaging with these young minds, sharing experiences and encouraging them to pursue careers in food science, agriculture, technology and innovation as it is our responsibility to nurture the next generation of scientists and innovators.

Women’s Day Commemoration at SANBI Walter Sisulu National Botanical Garden under the inspiring theme, “70 Years of Women’s Power - From Resistance to Transformation.” As a woman working in AgriTech, climate-smart agriculture, environmental sustainability and enterprise development, I am reminded that women are not only participants in development - we are innovators, entrepreneurs, farmers, scientists, leaders and agents of transformation. May we continue to turn resilience into opportunity and create pathways for the women coming behind us. We celebrate the strength, contribution and power of women to transform our communities, economy and environment

Season of Multiplication, lalela

We are getting ready for a season of multiplication at Sibayeni Metrofarming
We are busy building and installing 60 additional rabbit cages as we prepare for the coming birthing season.

This is what growth looks like - planning ahead, investing in infrastructure, and preparing for increased production.
From one season to the next, we are building a sustainable agricultural enterprise that creates opportunities, produces food and demonstrates what is possible through smart farming.

The cages are going up. The rabbits are multiplying. The vision is growing

THEY DIDN’T JUST ATTEND A PYJAMA PARTy… THEY LAUNCHED A BUSINESS

My 2026 Women’s Day gift were blessings , prayers, declarations and women standing together in faith. ❤️

After an incredibly insightful Women Pyjama Party discussing money, investment and budgeting, the women walked around Sibayeni Metrofarming, praying over the land, the business, our dreams and declaring success, abundance, favour and prosperity.

I am truly blessed. There is power in women who learn together, build together and pray together.

May every prayer spoken over Sibayeni become a testimony. May the work of our hands prosper. May abundance flow. And may this land continue to produce impact far beyond what we can imagine.

What an incredible continuation of the IEDF Conference in KwaZulu-Natal!

I was deeply honoured to be announced as IEDF Head of Agriculture - South Africa, supporting the Economic Development Forum Vision 2030.
Sharing this powerful moment with country leaders and delegates from South Africa 🇿🇦, Kenya 🇰🇪, Zimbabwe 🇿🇼, Malawi 🇲🇼 and Côte d’Ivoire 🇨🇮 made it even more special.

Different countries. One continent. One vision. Growing agriculture. Building economies. Transforming Africa.

I’m excited for the work ahead!

I had the honour and privilege of serving as the Programme Director for the IEDF Conference an Agriculture focused Conference & Launch of Medicinal Plants in Midrand, South Africa.

A conference filled with farmers, researchers, entrepreneurs, traditional leaders, government representatives, academics, and international partners was both humbling and inspiring.

The conference reminded us that agriculture is no longer just about producing food, it is about innovation, health, science, climate resilience, entrepreneurship and creating sustainable livelihoods.

As I guided the programme, I witnessed powerful conversations, meaningful partnerships and a shared commitment to unlocking the potential of medicinal plants and agroprocessing across Africa.

Thank you to the organisers, speakers, delegates, and every participant who contributed to making this event a success. It was an honour to help facilitate conversations that will shape the future of agriculture.
