On Friday, 31 July 2026, The College celebrated the spirit of Nelson Mandela by spending the day giving back to the elderly residents of the KaMhlushwa Old Age Home in Nkomazi. Putting their skills into action, the College's Civil Engineering team carried out renovation work, including the construction of a new bathroom and shower, while also improving the home's drainage system. The initiative was more than just a community project but it was a way of showing care, respect and appreciation for the older generation. The College believes that making a difference starts with serving others and through acts like these, it continues to live the values of Ubuntu and build stronger, more caring communities.
