We welcome efforts by the Department of Arts and Culture and stakeholders in the Library and Information Services sector in ensuring that South Africa has a National Policy for Library and Information Services.
Our role is to assist and encourage our fellow students to study towards post graduate studies. The significance of Library and Information Science post graduate studies and their contribution to research and innovation cannot be over-emphasized.
We look forward to the finalization of the National Library and Information Services Policy. The final draft of the document is available for comments here:
