Did you know that using scissors can have many important benefits for kids? βœ‚οΈ

πŸ‘‰Improves hand-eye coordination: Scissors help kids develop better control and accuracy.

πŸ‘‰Strengthens fine motor skills: Cutting with scissors helps strengthen the small muscles in the hands and fingers.

πŸ‘‰Boosts cognitive development: It encourages concentration and following instructions.

πŸ‘‰Promotes independence: Kids learn to do tasks by themselves, increasing confidence and self-reliance.

At Little Kitchen, children not only get to explore the world of food, but they also learn essential techniques like cutting with scissors, slicing with kid-friendly knives, stirring, mixing, grating, folding and so much more. πŸ΄πŸ‘©β€πŸ³ Every lesson is an opportunity to build life skills in a fun, safe, and creative environment!

Introducing Michelle (Chellie) 😜, our newest Franchisee at Little Kitchen in Mbombela.

Michelle has lived all over South Africa and she is a registered nurse by trade and a mom to a very busy little toddler. Seeking a change in lifestyle and career direction after embracing motherhood, Michelle found her way back to Lowveld, also known by locals as "slowveld" 🀣πŸͺ.

Michelle shares with us why she joined the Little Kitchen family:

β€œAs a food enthusiast, I wished for my daughter to share my passion for diverse and exciting flavours. When faced with her picky eating habits, I felt disheartened.

I came across Little Kitchen in a quest to encourage my daughter to become an adventurous eater. I immediately fell in love with the program and knew that I wanted to help other kids experience food in this fun way.

I've been welcomed into two prestigious schools (Uplands and Penryn College) and seeing how confident kids are with food and equipment just makes me burst with pride!β€πŸ˜πŸ₯³
