Mnr. en Mej. Bergvlam 2026 skitter!

Mr & Miss Bergvlam took place last night and was about so much more than just a beauty pageant. The evening celebrated the talent, personality and community involvement of our finalists, who spent months preparing and making a difference in our school and community.

Na maande se voorbereiding het die finaliste hulself in gemakdrag, formele drag en ’n energieke kreatiewe dansitem gewys, met ’n kleurvolle aand vol musiek, beweging en Bergvlam-gees. Uiteindelik het Rizwaan Guman en Marizaan Serfontein met die gesogte krone weggestap.

Good luck to our first team who will be playing in the Noordvaal Cup final against Hoërskool Wolmaransstad on Saturday, after their 34-26 over Hoërskool Louis Trichardt this past Saturday.

This is the first time in the history of the school that a first team will be participating in a final! 🏉

Manne, laat die Vlam brand. 🔥🔥Ons is trots op julle en ons ondersteun julle al die pad!

Die Nelspruit Eisteddfod is in volle gang en drie Vlammie-groepe het reeds uitsonderlik presteer. Al drie groepe het ‘n A+ vir hul optrede ontvang. Die optredes was veral spesiaal vir ons Matrikulante wat vir ‘n laaste keer hul vlamme saam met hul maats op die verhoog kon laat brand. 🎭

Baie geluk aan ons landloopatlete Joshua Louw en Elbé Janse van Vuuren wat die naweek deurgedring het na die Suid-Afrikaanse kampioenskappe. Ons wens vir julle baie sterkte toe.🏅👟
Baie dankie ook aan Uniwisp vir die borg van die atlete se opwarmingshemde.

Mr and Miss Bergvlam challenge 4. ❤️

Thanks to our English debaters, Bergvlam’s ended on a high note on Sunday when our junior and senior teams were crowned as Mpumalanga champs during the provincial division of the National Debate League.
They will represent the province at the national competition that will be held in Johannesburg from 24 – 26 October.
Malebo Seretlo (Gr9) was crowned as junior best speaker while Oratile Muloiwa (Gr10) was recognized as best senior speaker.
All the other speakers were part of the top 20.
