This week, our little Bashful artists went wild! 🐾 Their theme was **Wild Animals**, and they had so much fun creating their very own beautiful lion pictures. 🦁✨

🐴🤎 *Sunshine Class Art Spotlight*🤎🐴

Hee-haw! Our little Sunshine stars had a farmyard full of fun this week! 🌾✨ As part of our farm animals theme, the children used their creativity to turn ordinary brown paper bags into the cutest little donkey hand puppets. 🎨🐴

With giggles, imagination, and tiny hands hard at work, each donkey got its own special personality. The children loved making their puppets and bringing them to life through pretend play. 🥰

We are so proud of our little artists and their wonderful creations! 🌻🤎

🐴🤎 *Sonskynklas Kuns Kollig* 🤎🐴

Hee-haw! Ons klein Sonskyn maatjies het hierdie week ’n plaas vol pret beleef! 🌾✨ As deel van ons plaasdiere-tema het die kinders hul kreatiwiteit ingespan en gewone bruin papiersakke verander in die oulikste donkie-handpoppe. 🎨🐴

Met groot glimlaggies, hope verbeelding en klein handjies wat hard gewerk het, het elke donkie sy eie unieke persoonlikheid gekry. Die kinders het dit baie geniet om hul handpoppe te maak en hulle daarna met heerlike verbeeldingspel “lewendig” te maak. 🥰

Ons is so trots op ons klein kunstenaars en hulle pragtige skeppings! 🌻🤎

🎨 Art Spotlight – Doc Class 🍂🌳

This week our *Doc Class* explored the wonderful theme of Trees and Wood. Inspired by the beautiful colours of autumn, our little artists created stunning autumn trees bursting with warm shades of red, orange, yellow and brown.

Through this creative activity, the children explored colour, texture and fine motor skills while expressing their own unique ideas. We are so proud of their beautiful masterpieces and the creativity they showed.

Well done, Doc Class! Your colourful autumn forest has brightened our classroom. 🍁🧡

🎨 Kuns Kollig – Doc-klas 🍂🌳

Hierdie week het ons Doc-klas die tema Bome en Hout verken. Geïnspireer deur die pragtige herfskleure het ons klein kunstenaars asemrowende herfsbome geskep met warm skakerings van rooi, oranje, geel en bruin.

Deur hierdie kreatiewe aktiwiteit het die kinders kleur, tekstuur en fynmotoriese vaardighede ontdek, terwyl hulle hul eie unieke idees uitgedruk het. Ons is ongelooflik trots op elkeen se pragtige kunswerk en die kreatiwiteit wat hulle gewys het.

Mooi so, Doc-klas! Julle kleurvolle herfsbos maak ons klaskamer ekstra mooi. 🍁🧡

🎨 Art Spotlight – Snow Prince Class 🐱🌸

This week, our Snow Prince Class explored the theme of *pets* by creating beautiful cats sitting in colourful gardens. The children used *oil pastels* to add bright colours, texture and detail to their artwork while developing their creativity and fine motor skills. We are so proud of their wonderful effort and imagination—each cat is as unique and special as the little artist who created it! 🐾🌼💚

🎨 Kuns Kollig – Sneeuprinsklas 🐱🌸

Hierdie week het ons *troeteldiere* as tema verken deur pragtige katte in kleurvolle tuine te skep. Die kinders het *oliepastelle* gebruik om helder kleure, tekstuur en besonderhede by hul kunswerke te voeg, terwyl hulle hul kreatiwiteit en fyn motoriese vaardighede ontwikkel het. Ons is ongelooflik trots op elkeen se moeite en verbeelding—elke kat is uniek en net so spesiaal soos die klein kunstenaar wat dit geskep het! 🐾🌼💚

🐾 A Heart for Every Paw❤️

Today our little Kabouters were reminded that kindness can change a life. Michelle from our local SPCA, together with her beautiful companion Mia, visited us to teach our children about caring for animals and the incredible work the SPCA does every day.

A sincere thank you to every parent, staff member, and little Kabouter who has already donated. Your generosity is bringing hope, comfort, and love to animals who need it most. 🐶🐱

Our donation drive continues until 28 August, so there's still time to make a difference. If you're able to donate pet food, blankets, toys, or washing powder, we'd be so grateful.
