Kabouterland Athletics Family Day Brings Fun and Community Together
On Saturday, 30 May, Kabouterland hosted a memorable Athletics Family Day filled with laughter, friendly competition, and quality family time.
The event gave children the exciting opportunity to compete alongside and against their parents in a variety of athletics activities. The field was filled with cheers, encouragement, and plenty of smiles as families worked together and enjoyed some healthy competition.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, a variety of delicious food and refreshments were on sale throughout the day, ensuring that everyone had something to enjoy while supporting the event.
The Athletics Family Day was about much more than sport—it was a celebration of family, friendship, and community spirit. Young and old alike embraced the day's activities, creating special memories and strengthening the bonds that make the Kabouterland family so unique.
A heartfelt thank you goes to all the parents, children, staff members, and supporters who contributed to the success of the day. It was truly a wonderful occasion that showcased the warmth, enthusiasm, and togetherness that Kabouterland is known for. See less

🎨 Art Spotlight – Bunny Class🥕

This week, our Bunny Class explored the wonderful world of seeds and plants! To celebrate our theme, the children created the cutest carrot artworks. 🧡💚

As they painted, cut, and assembled their carrots, they practiced important fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and creative expression. Through this activity, the children also learned about how carrots grow from tiny seeds into healthy vegetables.

We are so proud of our little artists and their bright, cheerful creations! 🌱🐰

🎨 Kuns Kollig – Hasieklas🥕

Hierdie week het ons Hasieklas die wonderlike wêreld van sade en plante ontdek! Om ons tema te vier, het die kinders die oulikste wortelkunswerke gemaak. 🧡💚

Terwyl hulle geverf, geknip en hul wortels aanmekaar gesit het, het hulle belangrike fynmotoriese vaardighede, hand-oog-koördinasie en kreatiewe uitdrukking geoefen. Deur hierdie aktiwiteit het die kinders ook geleer hoe wortels van klein saadjies groei tot gesonde groente.

Ons is baie trots op ons klein kunstenaars en hul pragtige, kleurvolle skeppings! 🌱🐰

They spent time with our kabouters talking about the importance of safety in a fun, interactive, and age-appropriate way. The children learned valuable lessons about staying safe, listening to trusted adults, and being aware of their surroundings. 🚦💛
