Our operations are running normally following the agreements between various stakeholders to suspend the recent staff strike and also end the recent national shutdown. Unisa has decided to extend the registration and payment date for undergraduate qualifications (higher certificates, diplomas & degrees, advanced certificates, advanced diplomas, BTechs & postgraduate certificates) and honours degrees / postgraduate diplomas to Monday 17 February 2020 for the following reasons:
• The recent strike at all Unisa campuses.
• In order not to disadvantage any student.
• The NSFAS walk-in application deadline which has been extended to 14 February 2020.
Please take note of the following important information:
• A late registration will mean that your hard copy study material will be delivered late. You may, of course, access your study material via myUnisa, which will be available once your registration has been finalised. If your registration has not yet been finalised, you can still access your official study material by visiting the relevant page on the following link: https://www.unisa.ac.za/sites/myunisa/default/Announcements/How-to-access-your-Unisa-study-material-
• A late registration also means that the semester will be shorter, which will give you less time to complete assignments and prepare for your examinations.
• The due date for compulsory assignments will be communicated shortly.
