🌸🌈 SPRING PICNIC FUN! 🌈🌸

A little rain was definitely not going to spoil our Spring Picnic!

Even though the weather kept us indoors today, we brought the picnic into the classroom and still had the most wonderful time!

Because at Covenant Kids, we believe you can make sunshine wherever you are! ☀️

What a beautiful, happy day filled with smiles, fun and precious memories.

🍎🍌🍇 FRUITY FUN AT COVENANT KIDS! 🍓🍊🥝

Today our little ones had a delicious hands-on learning experience! We explored and tasted different fruits and then worked together to make our very own yummy fruit salad. 🥣🍓

We talked about the different colours, textures, smells and tastes — sweet, juicy, crunchy and even a little sour!

Learning through our senses is always so much fun, especially when we get to eat our lesson afterwards!

🦁 God Protects Daniel 🦁

What a special Bible lesson! Today our little ones learned the beautiful story of Daniel in the lion’s den and how God protected Daniel and kept him safe.

We made the story come alive through art and sensory play! The children used colouring pencils, brown paint, glitter for the angel’s wings, oats for the lion’s mane and glue to create their beautiful masterpieces.

More than just an art activity, it was a precious reminder for our little hearts that God is always with us, He watches over us, and we can trust Him.

“My God sent His angel, and he shut the lions’ mouths.”

What a beautiful way for our children to learn that the same God who protected little Moses watches over each one of them too.

Little hands creating.
Little hearts learning.
BIG faith growing.

Every big dream starts with a little imagination.

Today they dressed up as the people they dream of becoming. Tomorrow, they’ll be the ones making a difference. 💛

Our Sense of Taste – Sweet & Salty Fun!

This week at Covenant Kids, our little explorers learned all about the sense of taste! We discovered the difference between sweet and salty flavors and learned how our tongues help us taste different foods.

Learning is always sweeter when it’s hands-on and filled with smiles! ❤️

SIGHT – Learning Through Exploration!

Our little explorers created their own binoculars by painting and decorating them with stars and other creative designs. Once their masterpieces were complete, we headed outdoors to put them to good use!

Using their binoculars, the children explored the world around them, searching for interesting things in nature and learning to observe their surroundings more carefully.

Learning becomes even more meaningful when children can create, explore, and discover through play!
