Our little 2β3-year-old learners had a fun-filled week exploring the wonderful world of pets!
π’ Mathematics: Learners practised matching and sorting pets, developing their observation and early classification skills. πΆπ±
π£οΈ Language: We learned to name different pets, building vocabulary and confidence in speaking. πΎπ

Our Grade R learners had a wonderful time developing their reading and comprehension skills this week!
As part of our βFruitsβ theme, learners read and retold the fruit stories of the week, then answered questions about the stories. ππ£οΈπ
This activity helped our learners build their reading confidence, listening skills, vocabulary, memory and comprehension as they shared what they understood from each story. πβ€οΈ

Maths became hands-on and exciting in Grade R this week!
As part of our βFruitsβ theme, our learners used LEGO blocks to measure and compare the length and size of different fruits. π§±ππ
Through this fun activity, learners developed their understanding of measurement, comparison, longer and shorter, bigger and smaller, while learning through play and exploration. πβ€οΈ

This week, our learners explored the theme βFruitsβ πππ while developing important literacy and numeracy skills.
π Mathematics: Our learners explored measurement by comparing fruits, identifying which fruits were bigger, smaller, longer or shorter. ππ
π Language: They practised reading and retelling short stories, building their vocabulary, comprehension and confidence in speaking. π£οΈβ¨
