Our 3–4-year-old learners had an exciting week of learning as we explored the theme “Pets”!

🔤 Language: We explored the sounds M, N and O, practising sound recognition and building our early phonics skills. 📚🔊

🔢 Mathematics: Learners explored the concepts of more and less, using fun activities to compare quantities. 👏➕➖

🐾 Through play, exploration and hands-on activities, our little learners continue to build important skills while having fun!

Our little 2–3-year-old learners had a fun-filled week exploring the wonderful world of pets!

🔢 Mathematics: Learners practised matching and sorting pets, developing their observation and early classification skills. 🐶🐱

🗣️ Language: We learned to name different pets, building vocabulary and confidence in speaking. 🐾📚

🏃🏽‍♀️ Physical Education: Our little ones practised basic movements including walking, jumping and running while having lots of fun! 🤸🏽‍♂️💨

Every activity is an opportunity to learn, move, explore and grow! 🌟🥰

🍎📖 GRADE R | TERM 3 = WEEK 5: FRUITS 🍓✨

Our Grade R learners had a wonderful time developing their reading and comprehension skills this week!

As part of our “Fruits” theme, learners read and retold the fruit stories of the week, then answered questions about the stories. 📚🗣️🍊

This activity helped our learners build their reading confidence, listening skills, vocabulary, memory and comprehension as they shared what they understood from each story. 👏❤️

🍎🧱📏 GRADE R | TERM 3 = WEEK 5: FRUITS 🍓🍌✨

Maths became hands-on and exciting in Grade R this week!

As part of our “Fruits” theme, our learners used LEGO blocks to measure and compare the length and size of different fruits. 🧱📏🍊

Through this fun activity, learners developed their understanding of measurement, comparison, longer and shorter, bigger and smaller, while learning through play and exploration. 👏❤️

Who knew maths could be this much fun? 😍

Learning was fresh, colourful and delicious this week!

As part of our “Fruits” theme, our learners worked together to prepare a delicious fruit salad. 🍇🍉🍌🥭

This hands-on activity allowed them to develop important skills such as teamwork, following instructions, identifying different fruits and practising healthy eating habits. 👏🌟

Learning came alive in our Grade R classroom this week!

As part of our “Fruits” theme, one of our little scientists took the lead and confidently conducted a lemon volcano experiment for the class. 🍋🌋👏

Through this exciting hands-on activity, our learners had the opportunity to observe, explore, ask questions and learn through experimentation. 🔬💡

What a fruitful week of learning it has been in Grade R!

This week, our learners explored the theme “Fruits” 🍊🍌🍎 while developing important literacy and numeracy skills.

📏 Mathematics: Our learners explored measurement by comparing fruits, identifying which fruits were bigger, smaller, longer or shorter. 🍉🍓

📖 Language: They practised reading and retelling short stories, building their vocabulary, comprehension and confidence in speaking. 🗣️✨

🍍 Through fun, hands-on activities, our learners continue to discover that learning can be meaningful, practical and fun! 🌟

🐾📚 GRADE RR | TERM 3 = WEEK 5 HIGHLIGHTS ✨

It was another fun-filled week of learning through play and exploration in Grade RR! 💛

This week, our little learners explored the theme “Pets” 🐶🐱🐰 while building their language and mathematical skills.

🔤 Language: We explored the “ed” family and practised recognising and using words with the same word ending.
🔺 Mathematics: We learned about different shapes, developing our ability to identify and name them.
🐾 Theme: Our learners discovered more about pets, the animals we care for and how to look after them.

We are so proud of our little learners as they continue to learn, explore, participate and grow! 🌟❤️
