On Thursday, 19 March 2026, our third-year students had the incredible opportunity to attend the Agri-Expo (AgriH) held at Protea Hotel Polokwane – The Range Resort.

This annual exhibition brings together a wide range of exhibitors, from small-scale farmers to commercial producers, as well as renowned industry experts and leading agricultural companies. The experience provided our students with valuable first-hand exposure to the latest industry trends, climate-smart agricultural technologies, and innovative practices that complement their classroom learning.

As a college, we believe it is essential to expose our students to real-world platforms like Agri-Expo. These experiences play a vital role in grooming and shaping the next generation of agricultural leaders and entrepreneurs. The event serves as a dynamic learning platform where students can engage directly with industry experts, explore agri-business opportunities, and deepen their understanding of sustainable food security.

We were also honoured by the presence of the Premier of Limpopo Province, Dr Phophi Ramathuba, and the MEC of Agriculture and Rural Development, Ms. Nakedi Kekana.

We remain committed to ensuring that all our final-year students benefit from such impactful experiences each year, preparing them to make meaningful contributions to the agricultural sector.

🎓🌾 Celebrating Agricultural Excellence in Sekhukhune District🌾🎓

Earlier today, 13 March 2026, Boeketlong Lodge in Ga Moloi proudly hosted a graduation ceremony where 52 students from Tompi Seleka College of Agriculture received certificates in Plant and Animal Productions after successfully completing their agricultural training.

The ceremony was attended by families, friends, community members, and stakeholders who came together to celebrate the dedication and hard work of these graduates. Their achievement marks an important step as they prepare to contribute to the development and sustainability of the agricultural sector in Limpopo.

During the ceremony, speakers encouraged the graduates to use the knowledge and practical skills they acquired to make a positive difference in their communities. They were also reminded of the importance of embracing innovation, entrepreneurship, and leadership within agriculture.

As future food producers, these graduates have the potential not only to strengthen food security but also to create employment opportunities and drive rural economic growth.
