Saturdays continue to be inspiring at CAFCA!

On 5 June, we had the honour of hosting incredible musicians and educators: Polliana Sattler from Germany, pianist Toni Hinterholzinger, bassist Jens Pestzold, and South African pianist Dr. Phuthi Sepuru.

Our students enjoyed a memorable day filled with music, learning, motivation, and meaningful exchanges with these accomplished artists. Opportunities like these remind us of the power of music to connect people across cultures and generations.

We are truly grateful to our guests for sharing their knowledge, experience, and passion with the next generation of musicians.

The workshop explored this through iconic pieces such as Come Sunday by Duke Ellington, Blues for a Hip King by Abdullah Ibrahim, and Mercy,Mercy,Mercy by Cannonball Adderley.
