BURSARY PROGRAMME

The Oasis Group, founded in 1997, is an international fund management operation. MORE ABOUT THE BURSARY PROGRAMME – SERVICE CONTRACT & SELECTION PROCESS
Bursary recipients are required to take part in the Vacation Work Programme. Once students have graduated, they must take up employment at Oasis – the working period will be equal to the duration of funding received as well as 1 extra year.
Applicants will receive acknowledgement of their application within 2 weeks of applying – if you do not receive any receipt of confirmation, you should contact the Bursary Officer (021 413 7860).

Successful applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application by 31 December 2018 at the latest. Successful applicants who wrote their Matric exams in 2018 will be notified of the outcome of their application as soon as possible after your final matric results are received.
If you do not receive any feedback (other than the receipt of confirmation), please regard your application as unsuccessful.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):

South African citizen,
Studying or intending on studying full time in one of the aforementioned fields of study
Studying or intending on studying at a recognised tertiary institute in South Africa

ABOUT THE BURSARY
Patrice and Precious Motsepe (the Motsepe family) were the first family in Africa to join The Giving Pledge. The Giving Pledge is a commitment by the wealthies individuals and families across the globe, to donate most of their wealth to philanthropy.
