Berakah Education Foundation

Berakah is focused on getting young children ready for school, and training day care workers in early childhood development.

The first seven years of a child's life determine his future. At Berakah's early learning centre in the Lusaka settlement in Mamelodi, South Africa, we work to provide sustainable quality early education to the children of this struggling community. In order to accomplish this, Berakah focuses on two things:

Early Childhood Development—educating, nurturing, and empowering the 150 children who attend our education centre daily so that they can succeed in primary school and beyond. ECD Training—we facilitate ECD training for teachers and day care workers in township and rural settings where they may not otherwise have access to this training. Berakah Education Foundation is a community development project of
Impact Mobilisation, a ministry of Hatfield Christian Church.

Berakah back at play after the winter school holiday. Thankful for the piece of land across the street from us that gives our kiddos lots of room to stretch their legs! Maybe one day, Berakah can own this land! And the game "red light, green light" never goes out-of-date!!!
