WE ARE A PROFESSIONAL INSTITUTION!
Professional Technical College is a Further Education and Training Institute, established in the year 1997. This institute has strived to remain a legally trading, registered body without fail.
We have received a handful number of calls from the public with the registration of the institution under the Higher Education and Training bodies as the question posed.
In order to respond diligently to this question, to the satisfaction of the public, we therefore found it necessary to firstly conduct a root cause analysis to dissect the reason for the question. Having found the cause being misleading publications by competitive institutions in hope of the closing down of Professional Technical College for their gain.
It is therefore our sole responsibility to clear the air by assuring our students and those who wish to enroll in future of the following;
1. We operate under the direction and requirements of the Department of Higher Education and Training. Our Department of higher education and training registration no. is 2019/FET07/013
2. We are an accredited college For Nated Engineering and Business Qualifications (N1-N6) by QCTO (SDP1224/18/00113)
3. We are registered with Umalusi council which is responsible to set and monitor standards for general & further Education & Training in South Africa in accordance with the National Qualifications Framework act no 67 of 2008. Accreditation number: (17 FET0200120 PA).
4. We are registered with the QCTO As a skills Development Provider (SDP1224/18/00113) which is the Quality Council for Trades & Occupation responsible for issuing Occupational and Trade Certificates to learners who have achieved these qualifications.
