Happy Acres is situated 56km west of Johannesburg in picturesque Magaliesburg. The children’s Holiday Camp is run by Lynn Katsoulis with a staff of Counsellors who are ‘old’ campers selected and trained in leadership. Upon arrival at camp, children are divided into smaller age groups of approximately 10-12 children. A camp counsellor is allocated to each group and stays with his/her
group through

out the week. Counsellors provide stimulating activities for different age groups and ensure that campers of all ages are well cared for
and entertained. Some activities involve the entire camp group and other sessions are group specific, catering for various age groups and ability levels. An exciting new programme with activities to suit all is designed for each camp. Our wide variety of activities include arts, crafts, walks, games, sports, hobbies,
swimming, cook outs, crab catching, playing with the guinea pigs or rabbits, etc. All the activities at Happy Acres are supervised and conducted with children’s
safety in mind.
