Today it’s a sad day for the nation, the day that took lives of parents in Sharpville. We recognise and pay homage to the resilience and fight of our heroes in fighting the apartheid regime.
On this day in 1960, apartheid police opened fire on a peaceful protest against pass laws, killing 69 people and injuring 180 others, marking a pivotal moment in the struggle against apartheid.
We call upon the youth of South Africa to answer to the clarion call and take forward the mission our parents and grandparents died for, and join the only vehicle that will bring economic freedom in our lifetime.
