We gathered to celebrate the life of Owethu Setlhoko and bid him a heartfelt farewell at his memorial service. 🕊️🤍

It was a beautiful celebration of his life, filled with memories, love, laughter and stories that reminded us of the special person he was. Though saying goodbye is never easy, we are grateful for the moments and good times we shared with Owethu.

Gone from our sight, but forever in our hearts. Rest peacefully, Owethu. 🕊️

Our Grade 9s went on an educational tour to Johannesburg. They visited many historical sites and museums. They finished of the day by unwinding at BOUNCE.

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved learner, Owethu Setlhoko, who passed away today.

Owethu was a valued member of the Golf View Secondary School family. His passing is a great loss to our school community, and he will be remembered with love and respect.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, classmates, teachers and all those whose lives he touched. May they find strength and comfort during this difficult time.

Though he may no longer walk our school corridors, his memory will forever remain in our hearts.

May his soul rest in eternal peace. 🕊️

We had a visit from the Department of Social Development, where a social worker spoke to our learners about the dangers and consequences of engaging in minor criminal activities.

The learners were reminded that seemingly small acts of misconduct can have serious and long-lasting consequences for their future. The session encouraged learners to make responsible choices, understand the impact of their actions, and avoid behaviour that could negatively affect their education, relationships and future opportunities.
