Beyond the Mission Camp 🌍

The mission did not end when our students left Machadodorp. Their journey continued to GYC Africa, where they gathered with fellow young people, ministers, and missionaries to learn, connect, and grow representing Chiomite and their respective ministries.

Last year, our President had the privilege of serving as a speaker at GYC Africa. This year, one of our students was given the opportunity to share about our institution and its work.

Beyond the sessions and fellowship, new connections were formed and meaningful relationships were begun relationships we pray will be nurtured into lasting partnerships for the advancement of God’s work.

The mission continues. The network grows. The work moves forward. ✨

Mission Camp Report

In the small town of Machadodorp, Purelight Missions students, together with Urim Academy and missionaries from various parts of the country, united with one purpose to reach this challenging community with the everlasting gospel.

Throughout the mission camp, teams ministered to people from all walks of life through home visitation, clinic outreach, visits to the police station, and door-to-door evangelism. They shared the plan of redemption and the love of God while following Christ's method of ministry by addressing people's physical, spiritual, and practical needs through health education, wellness support, and even helping with home maintenance.

The mission concluded with a community Health Expo, where, by God's grace, many lives were touched and seeds of hope were planted.

This is not the end of the story for Machadodorp. By God's leading, Purelight Missions students, together with fellow missionaries and ministry partners like you, look forward to returning to continue the work that He has begun.
