Zandvliet High School Zandvliet High School, formerly known as Macassar Senior Secondary, No, 2 was opened on January 1989.

Through hardships, Zandvliet High School persevered and still maintains the high standards it had set both academically as well as in the sports arena. Zandvliet High School situated in Macassar, Western Cape was established in 1989. We are a dual-medium school offering electives like Consumer studies, CAT, Accounting, Physical Science, Life Sciences, Geography, Business Studies and more recently

Tourism. Zandvliet offers activities such as Netball, Rugby, Athletics, Eco Club, Drama Productions and many more. We are also partnered with the Imibala Foundation, Maudita and often work with sponsors such as Grand West Casino to give our learners the best opportunities possible. Zandvliet has a dedicated staff who are passionate about education and always goes the extra mile for their learners. Lead by our Principal Mr S Plaatjies we are looking forward to welcoming you to be part of Zandvliet High School.

What an incredible Derby Day!
We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to every parent, learner, alumnus, supporter, and community member who came out to cheer on our teams. Your enthusiasm, school spirit, and unwavering support created an electric atmosphere that inspired our players to give their very best.

A special word of thanks goes to the Principal, staff, learners, and supporters of Macassar High School for their sportsmanship, respect, and the competitive spirit displayed throughout the day. We appreciate your contribution in making the derby a memorable and enjoyable occasion for everyone.

These extra lessons provide valuable revision, targeted support, and an opportunity to strengthen understanding ahead of the final examinations.
