✨ Ridgeway’s Got Talent! ✨

What an incredible showcase of talent! 🎤🎭🎶💃

Ridgeway’s Got Talent was truly a celebration of creativity, confidence and courage. The talent displayed on stage was nothing short of impeccable, and we could not be prouder of every learner who stepped forward and shared their gift with us.

A heartfelt thank you to our staff, learners and parents for making this event so special. Your support, encouragement and involvement made a lasting impact — and it was seen on that stage! ❤️

To every learner who participated: keep believing in your talent, keep growing, and keep shining!🌟

📚✨ BOOK WEEK HIGHLIGHT! ✨📚

What better way to end a wonderful week of celebrating books and reading than by dressing up as our favourite characters? 🎭📖

Our learners certainly understood the assignment! We loved seeing their creativity, enthusiasm and excitement as they brought some of their favourite book characters to life. 💙✨

A huge thank you to our learners, parents and staff for making last week so much fun and putting the magic of books at the heart of every day! 📚💫

And a special thank you to the teachers who coordinated Book Week and made each activity so memorable. Your dedication and creativity are truly appreciated! 👏🏽💙

📚✨ Book Week | Wednesday’s Activity

Yesterday brought a beautiful intergenerational touch to our Book Week celebrations as we welcomed our wonderful grannies to our school to read books to our learners. 👵🏽📖💙

This special activity was more than just reading. It was an opportunity for our learners to connect with an older generation, listen to their stories and experience the joy of sharing a book together. 🫶🏽

A heartfelt thank you to our lovely grannies for giving their time and sharing the magic of stories with our learners! 📚✨

📚✨ Book Week has officially begun!

We kicked off our Book Week celebrations yesterday with our Grade 7 learners taking on a special leadership role — reading books to our junior learners and sharing the joy of storytelling. 💙📖

Reading is so much more than turning the pages of a book. It helps children build vocabulary, strengthen language skills, develop their imagination, and broaden their understanding of the world around them. 🌍✨

By reading to our younger learners, our Grade 7s lead by example, encouraging a love of reading while showing kindness, responsibility, and mentorship. What a wonderful way to inspire the next generation of readers! 👏🏽📚

🌟 Exploring Future Possibilities!

Our Grade 7 learners stepped into the world of work as they explored different careers, researched their chosen fields, and reflected on their career simulations. From medicine and law to engineering, accounting and actuarial science, our learners are already thinking about the possibilities ahead! 👩‍⚕️⚖️👷‍♂️📊

A valuable Life Orientation experience encouraging our learners to dream, explore and plan for their futures. 🚀
