🌈🫧 Bubble Rainbow Science Experiment 🫧🌈

Our aftercare learners had an exciting and colourful afternoon with our fun Bubble Rainbow Science Experiment! 🧪🌈✨

The children enjoyed creating beautiful, colourful bubbles 🫧💜💙💚💛🧡❤️ and watching them come together to make a rainbow effect 🌈😍. They were encouraged to observe , explore 🔎, make predictions 🤔, and share their ideas 💭🗣️.

This hands-on activity helped develop their curiosity 🌟, creativity 🎨, observation skills , and problem-solving skills 🧠 while showing them that science can be both educational and lots of fun! 🧪🎉🥳

There were plenty of smiles 😄, laughter 😂, excitement 🤩, and amazing discoveries 🔬✨ throughout the activity.

Grade R Butterfly Art 🦋🎨🌈

Our Grade R learners created the most beautiful butterfly art! 🦋💖✨ They used their creativity, imagination, and colourful materials to make bright and unique butterflies. 🎨🌈🖍️✂️

The learners had so much fun creating their little masterpieces! 😍🥰🦋 They were excited and very proud of their beautiful artwork. 🌟👏💐

This fun activity helped develop their fine-motor skills ✋🖍️, creativity 🎨✨, and confidence 🌟 while learning through play. 🥳📚💖

Gardening Fun🪴🪏👩‍🌾

Our aftercare children had so much fun taking part in our gardening activities! 🌱🌻 They were very excited to get outside, explore nature, and get their little hands busy in the garden.

The children enjoyed watering the plants and learning that plants need water and care to grow. They took turns carrying the watering cans and carefully watering the flowers and vegetables. They were so proud to help look after the plants and enjoyed watching the water soak into the soil.

Digging was another favourite activity! The children loved digging in the soil, making little holes, and exploring what they could find underneath. They enjoyed feeling the soil between their fingers and working together to prepare the garden. Some children even pretended they were little gardeners getting the garden ready for new plants.

Our gardening experience was not only lots of fun, but also a wonderful learning opportunity. The children developed their fine motor skills, coordination, patience, and teamwork while enjoying the fresh air and sunshine. Most importantly, they learned to appreciate nature and understand how caring for plants helps them grow.

There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and excitement throughout the activity. It was a messy, hands-on, and memorable afternoon, and the children are already looking forward to spending more time in our garden! 🌿💦🪴

Fire Department Visit at Ridgeway ECD🚒👨‍🚒

Today, we had an exciting visit from the fire department at our school! 🏫🚒

The firefighters taught us about fire safety 🔥🧯, what to do during an emergency 🚨, and how they help keep our community safe. 👨‍🚒❤️

We also got to see their firefighting equipment and learn how it is used. 🪖🧤🚒 It was a fun, interesting, and educational experience! 😊👏

A big thank you to the firefighters for visiting our school and teaching us such important safety lessons! 🙌❤️‍🔥
