As the first LEAF international demonstration farm, Springfield Farms are proud to be able to show case our crops and sustainable farming techniques in supporting the environment whilst providing the world with a quality fruit and nuts. More than 40 000 UK school children watched the video: From Tree to Trolly - The Avocado Journey, during the two week campaign, and more than 400 000 primary and secondary age children engaged with wider campaign resources for Farming Fortnight 2026. A part of our towns clean-up project, Springfield Farms has donated African Blue Basil plants to beautify the landscape. These plants flower year round and attract an array of insects such as butterflies and bee's, and with it birds. The images below are from the LTT Memorial Hospital.

Hiking the beautiful Luonde kop, on the Soutpansberg mountain which Springfield has the privilege, along with our neighbour's to preserve. Incredible indigenous diversity of fauna and flora.
