๐จ๐ฝโ๐ซโจ Awareness Programme with Dope Black Dads โจ๐จ๐ฟโ๐ซ
An engaging Awareness Programme was presented yesterday by the Life Skills mentors, Dope Black Dads, to young men aged 16โ21 years from Jiswa and MCK Schools. ๐๐ฆ๐ฝ๐ฆ๐ฟ
The session centred on the theme of Fate, Luck, and Choice ๐ฒ๐โ๏ธ, encouraging learners to reflect deeply on their lives and the critical decisions they face as young men. ๐ญ๐ก The mentors highlighted the importance of recognising what is within their control, and how the choices they make today can shape their futures in powerful ways. ๐๐ The programme emphasised that showing up differently with accountability, resilience, and purpose ๐๐ฝ๐ฅ is both possible and essential.
Such interventions are especially vital in addressing the unique needs and behaviours of young men, particularly those who may be most vulnerable. ๐ก๏ธ๐ค The programme not only offered guidance and inspiration but also created a safe and open space for dialogue and reflection. ๐ฃ๏ธโค๏ธ
The encounter proved to be mutually enriching: while the young men gained valuable insights and tools to navigate their paths ๐ค๏ธโจ, the Dope Black Dads also experienced the energy, openness, and potential of our equally cool young men. ๐ช๐ฝ๐๐ซ
