The IMTC assisted the SATF in the National Children Tamil Eisteddfod and it is praise worthy to say that it was a successful event, where our children, Tamil teachers, parents and our community played a magnificent role in the promotion of our culture. The SATF also presented a special posthumus citation award to Mrs. Krishnaveni Pillay, siblings and families in memory of the late Mr. Candasami Kuppusami who was an inspector of schools and an author of note, this was presented by the trustees of the SATF where Dr. Chetty and Mr. Saths Chettiar did the presentation. The IMTC recognized Ms. Nikita Hermani Govender who is only 8 years and blind and participated in the Eisteddfod and taking honors, the IMTC agreed to sponsor her schooling for this year and 2018. We congratulate the SATF on this beautiful event.
