What is Angelman Syndrome?

Angelman Syndrome is a rare genetic neurodevelopmental condition that affects the nervous system.

Children and adults with Angelman Syndrome may experience:

✨ Limited or absent speech
✨ Seizures
✨ A happy, excitable personality and frequent smiling

While Angelman Syndrome presents unique challenges, individuals with the condition can thrive with the right support, therapies, education and a loving community.
