LenC.A.R.E - Lenasia Centre for Academic Remedial Excellence The Remedial School initially will b catering for the needs of learners in the Early Childhood Education phase and grade 1 phase.

To Provide a nurturing and intimate educational environment in which learners can develop holistically , to their potential , while providing all services necessary for academic, sensory, social, cognitive and emotional success. This would therefore include:
• Grade R
• Grade 1

- The school will take children from the age of 5 years , on the basis of its admission criteria.
- 10 children in e

ach class , with a teacher and a facilitator .
- The school will also cater for Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy and multidisciplinary group sessions for the children, in order to maximise their learning outcomes. Management:
The Remedial school will be run by a Board ,and a Principal will be elected by the Board to control day to day business of the school. The Board members:
The organisation has been a dream for Speech Therapist Shabeeha Ahmed Rashid, and Occupational Therapist Nazreen Hassan (founders) for many years, the catalyst for the move to begin the school has been by support and motivation from parents Aadil and Sharifah Bhayat, as well as Junaid and Ashrehan Bhayat, who both have children who experience barriers to learning. Suhayl Patel , another dedicated parent ,has joined the Board recently is also aware of the needs of learning disabled children through personal experience. The Board members:
