Lakeside Dojo Championships 2021

Lakeside Dojo Champs - Saturday 27 November

Elite Training Seminar - 11 to 14 January 2022

Our Elite Training Camp will again be held at Blue Bay Lodge in Saldanah Bay. Intense training for 4 days in preparation for the year ahead. Please contact me for information - bookings are limited and deadline is this Wednesday 24 November.

Western Cape Provincial Championships

Well done to our team who competed at the WC provincial trials on Saturday. Particular mention to Bryson who teaches all the kids at our Lakeside Dojo. His first official all-styles tournament and he won the Men's u60kg division.

Also was great to see some of our youngsters performing on the tatami for the first time in 2 years, some in their first all-styles event and doing very well. Many years of competition ahead of these kids and their parents.

Recently came across this picture.

Such a special moment. My 2 girls, Sophia and Juliette, who grew up at the dojo faced each other in the Kata final at the 2016 KSI World Championships in Germany. They shared this moment afterwards. Immensely proud.

Incredibly, the exact same thing happen to my other two girls Adriana and Chelsea who faced each other in the final immediately afterwards in the next age group.
