What is cricket?
Cricket is a bat and ball game that is played between two teams. The teams are made up of eleven players, and they play outside on a cricket field.

Fun facts about cricket

The longest cricket game on record was between England and South Africa in 1939. It lasted 14 days and ended in a tie!
When a batsman scores 100 runs, it is called a century.
The first recorded game of cricket was in 1646 in England.
The most common causes for game delay is rain and bad light. They must be delayed a lot in England then!
