In picking which career to choose always look out for these things:

1. Is it digital?
- by this I mean is it in the tech space or IT related.
Why is this important?
- well look at what is happening in our world, we have become depended on our devices. I'm sharing with you this message through a digital platform. Everything is becoming electronic wether we like it or not. Careers that will matter in the future are those that will solve digital problems.

2. What human need is it solving?
- your career might be digital but is it solving a human need.
Why is this important?
- careers, business or initiatives that solve human problems will always be in demand. Facebook is valued at over USD$1 Trillion, Amazon is also valued at over USD $1 Trillion. Why? Because these companies met human needs by using innovation & marketing and other strategies to solve human needs. Facebook solved the communications problem, Amazon solved the e-commerce problem and now they are making billions from solving that problem.

3. How do I start or where do I fit in?
- If you are still in school get yourself acquainted with techheads, familiarize yourself with computers. Those who are done with school visit Alison academy they offer free online accredited lessons. Create an account, choose IT related lessons.
- Also look out for a need and work towards meeting it. South Africa has approximately 1000 electric cars. That may not be a huge number but it shows that we have electric cars. Question: who will repair these cars, are the charging station in S.A (because electric cars don't use petrol or any gas). This is where you come in. Solve the human need. I'm using the automobile industry as an example. The agricultural sector, education system, hospitality industry all need digital solutions and this is where you come.
