Dear parents/guardians

It has came to our attention that there seem to an aggrievance from a parent or guardian of one of our learners on one of the social platforms regarding the civvies and donation amount for Valentines Day.

We would like to make it clear that the matter regarding fundraising was agreed upon by parents at a parents meeting held on 11/10/2024 again on our last meeting held 10/12/2024. During the said meeting parents agreed to assist the school by contributing a specific amount.

Furthermore, NO LEARNER has been chased away from receiving their democratic right to education due to the inability to contribute the agreed amount.

It is advisable that parents should attend meetings so as to criticise, oppose or protest against ideas and decisions to be taken collectively. The failure to attend meetings leads to moments such as these were our school name gets tainted because of propaganda.

Parents are also advised to contact the principal of the school to seek clarity, transparency and comprehensibility.
