Growing Together: Our Latest Garden Project 🌱

The School Environmental Education Programme (SEEP Group), Soul Buddyz, Cooks and Support Staff came together as one united team to kick-start our latest school garden project.

This wonderful initiative highlights the power of teamwork, collaboration and a shared commitment to creating a greener and healthier school environment.

Together, we are nurturing not only our garden but also valuable lessons of responsibility, sustainability and community spirit.

🌳 Arbor Day Assembly at Stanger Heights Primary School 🌱

Stanger Heights Primary School hosted an exciting and educational Arbor Day Assembly Programme aimed at creating awareness about the importance of trees and protecting our environment. Learners enjoyed an informative programme filled with poems, songs, presentations and interesting facts about trees and nature. The assembly encouraged learners to understand the vital role trees play in providing clean air, shade, food and a healthy environment. It was a meaningful and enjoyable programme that inspired our learners to become responsible environmental ambassadors and to take pride in keeping our school and community green, clean and beautiful. 🌍💚🌳

✨ An Adventure to Remember! ✨

Our Grade 3 and 4 learners embarked on an exciting overnight excursion to Seula Camp this past Friday, 28 August 2026!

From enjoying the beautiful outdoor scenery to taking part in fun-filled and adventurous activities, our learners made the most of every moment. The excitement continued as they got to share the special experience of spending the night with their friends! It was a wonderful adventure filled with laughter, friendship, fun and unforgettable memories.

Entrepreneurs Day at Stanger Heights Primary School

Stanger Heights Primary School hosted an exciting and inspiring Entrepreneurs Day, giving learners an opportunity to showcase their creativity, business skills and entrepreneurial spirit.

The school grounds were transformed into a vibrant marketplace, with learners enthusiastically setting up stalls and offering a variety of products and treats for sale. From delicious homemade snacks and refreshments to creative products and fun activities, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

The event provided learners with valuable hands-on experience in planning, budgeting, marketing, communication, teamwork and money management. It also encouraged them to think creatively, take initiative and understand the importance of entrepreneurship in building a successful future.

A special thank you goes to our learners, educators, parents and supporters who contributed towards making the day such a wonderful success. Their enthusiasm, dedication and support created an unforgettable experience for our school community.

Stanger Heights Primary School Soccer Team – District Tournament

Stanger Heights Primary School’s soccer team proudly participated in a district-level league games held at Shakaville Sport Ground. The team displayed excellent sportsmanship, determination and teamwork throughout the tournament.

The results were:

- Stanger Heights Primary 2–1 Dawnview Primary
- Lloyd Primary 2–0 Stanger Heights Primary
- Stanger Heights Primary 4–1 Mavivane Primary
- Stanger Heights Primary 2–0 Ashram Primary

The team recorded three impressive victories, scoring 8 goals and conceding only 4 goal in those wins. Congratulations to our learners and coaches for representing Stanger Heights Primary School with pride and commitment!

Resuscitating the School Garden:

Stanger Heights Primary School is proud to be resuscitating its school garden, creating a vibrant and productive space for learners to connect with nature and learn about sustainable gardening. Through the dedication of staff and learners, the garden is being restored with fresh plants, vegetables and flowers. This initiative promotes environmental awareness, responsibility and healthy living while providing learners with valuable hands-on learning experiences.

Dear Parents, Guardians and well Wishers.

It is with a heavy heart that we acknowledge the passing of Scebi. His loss not only touched us deeply, but also meant that Shenge WaseHlalankosi was unable to perform.
We sincerely apologize for his absence, as he was unable to attend due to Scebi’s night vigil.

We are grateful that he sent a representative to explain on his behalf, and he has promised to honour us with a performance when we invite him in the near future. We give our word that this will happen.

While we would have loved for him to perform, yesterday’s concert was about celebrating our own talented learners, and oh boy, did they not disappoint. We are raising superstars.

Thank you for supporting our concert. We have no doubt that you had fun.
