KURUMAN PRIMARY SCHOOL RCL 2026 GOES TO THE BRICS+ SUMMER SCHOOL 2026
On 2–3 September 2026, the Representative Council of Learners (RCL) 2026 from Kuruman Primary School had the incredible opportunity to attend the BRICS Summer School at the UNISA Main Campus in Pretoria.
Our RCL was accompanied by Ms P. Itumeleng, Mr M. Scharneck and Mrs H. Snyder, who supported and guided our young leaders throughout this remarkable experience.
A SCHOOL AMONG NATIONS
We were incredibly proud to be the only school represented at the Summer School, joining delegates from 12 countries. Our learners had the opportunity to interact with people from different backgrounds, engage with new ideas and experience what it means to participate in a global community.
This was more than a trip. It was an opportunity for our young leaders to learn, lead, connect and broaden their horizons.

Your generosity helped make this journey even more memorable and gave our learners the opportunity to experience learning through imagination, exploration and play.
The educational immersive 3D theatre experience was particularly meaningful, encouraging our learners to engage their imagination, explore new perspectives and experience education in a completely different way.
We believe that learning extends far beyond the classroom, and experiences such as these allow our learners to discover, imagine and dream bigger.
To our RCL 2026: You represented Kuruman Primary School with pride. You showed that young leaders from our community can confidently take their place on national and international platforms. 🇿🇦🌍
