What an incredible sporting weekend for Kalahari High School! Our learners represented our school with pride, worked hard, never gave up and – most importantly – showed true sportsmanship.

Die skool begin elke dag stiptelik om 07:30.

Vanaf môre, Dinsdag 18 Augustus 2026, sal alle skoolhekke om 07:35 gesluit word.

❗ Leerders wat nie teen 07:35 op die skoolterrein is nie, sal ongelukkig nie toegelaat word om die terrein binne te gaan nie.

Ons doen 'n ernstige beroep op alle ouers, voogde en vervoeroperateurs om toe te sien dat leerders betyds by die skool arriveer.

Laatkom kan nie voortdurend voortduur nie. Ons het 'n vasgestelde skooldag, 'n rooster om te volg en 'n kurrikulum wat voltooi moet word. Wanneer leerders laat is, ontwrig dit nie net hul eie akademiese vordering nie, maar ook die onderrig en leer van ander leerders.

From tomorrow, Tuesday 18 August 2026, all school gates will be closed at 07:35.

❗ Learners who are not on the school premises by 07:35 will unfortunately not be permitted to enter the school grounds.

We therefore make a serious appeal to all parents, guardians, and transport providers to ensure that learners arrive at school on time.

Continual lateness can not be accepted. We have a structured school day, a timetable to follow, and a curriculum to complete. When learners arrive late, it disrupts not only their own academic progress but also the teaching and learning of other learners.

⏰ BE ON TIME.

07:30 — School starts.
07:35 — Gates close.

We expect every learner to take responsibility and ensure that they arrive at school on time.
